After language school, I went on to study at graduate school and I’m now working at a trading company. I had to work hard to achieve my goals and it was tough at times, but overall a very enjoyable experience. To those of you who are planning to come to Japan to study, I would say ‘Whatever you do, put all of your effort into it’. If you work hard, I’m sure you will enjoy a full and rewarding time here.

When I first came to Japan, I felt a bit worried about not being able to communicate well in my new environment. One day, I came across an internet advertisement for the Ibaraki International Language Institute and quickly enrolled with a friend. I only knew a few basic "survival Japanese" phrases at the time, but the welcoming atmosphere of the school quickly put me at ease. After just a few lessons, I found that the knowledgeable and patient teachers really made learning Japanese stress-free! Thanks to them, I'm enjoying living and working in Japan even more than before. Ibaraki Kokusai Gakuin, doomo arigatou gozaimasu!

When I arrived in Japan, I couldn’t manage a word of conversation in Japanese. But thanks to the patience and hard work of my teachers, I have become able to communicate with more and more confidence. I’m sure that I will continue to make progress as I work towards my goal of getting into university.

When I arrived in Japan two years ago, the only Japanese I knew was ‘itadakimasu’. I was staying with a Japanese family and I had to start middle school but I couldn’t understand the language so I started studying every evening at Ibaraki International Language Institute. Now, thanks to the helpful teachers, as well as my friends and host family, I think I’ve become quite good and I’m enjoying my life in Japan. Soon I’ll be moving to Australia but I’ll never forget my two years here. To everyone who helped me ‘arigatou!’.

I’ve been studying Japanese for 4 years and have enjoyed life in Japan greatly. Everyday life has become easier thanks to Ibaraki Kokusai Gakuin. When I just come here, I started to travel and learned only a little Japanese, but it was fun. However I wanted to be able to hold more conversations and read more signs. So, I joined this school. Well, I’ve endeavor to improve more. My Japanese mother and family also helped me greatly.
